Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
Unplanned growth of urban areas is affecting the natural drainage surface. The roads turning into streams can be easily observed in Lamachaur, Pokhara and many other urban areas of Nepal especially during rainy seasons. This study was mainly focused to find the best solution to overcome the overflow problem of Lamachaur area and to recommend design alternatives that would work effectively throughout the design period. The tipping bucket rainfall data was obtained from Pashchimanchal Campus located in the study area and rainfall data with ten year return period was obtained from intensity duration frequency (IDF) curve generated for a meteorological station located in Pokhara airport. The complete storm network was drawn as line diagram in Storm Water Management Model (SWMM). The input parameters for conduits, nodes, junctions, rain gauge, sub-catchments and outfalls were entered. The catchment was modeled in the SWMM. The longitudinal profile of existing drain was obtained...........

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
The Complex nature of Construction project always having a design separated from actual construction and its multi disciplinary professionals, demands an efficient and effective communication process. It has observed that ineffective communication has adversely affected construction project, thus, in answer to the clarion calls by the construction professionals this work examined the factors causing ineffective communication and its effects on construction project. Adopting survey research, a structured questionnaire on factors causing ineffective communication and its effect on construction project delivery was administered to professionals in the Nigerian construction industry. 75 questionnaires on a stratified sampling technique were distributed and 64 respondents representing 85.3% achievement. 32 factors were listed as the causative factors while 21 factors were listed as effect of ineffective communication in the Nigerian construction industry. Percentages, mean score and standard deviation were used in the analysis. Communication breakdown with a mean score of 1.63 ranked first while project failure with a mean score of 1.64 and standard deviation ranked first in the causative factors and the effect respectively. Communication plan should identify who, what, when and how information should be provided.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
Leather production is carried out on a large scale in Rio Grande do Sul, mainly by companies that have activities in the shoe industry. The production of footwear and leather accessories, the large scale production as leather dust, are usually discarded in industrial landfills. Such products are classified as hazardous because of the use of chromium in the tanning process. The most common form of disposal is the construction of landfills, the environmental legislation in force requires that the landings be impermeable so that they do not contaminate the soil or sheets of water. With this in mind, the present project carries out a characterization of the residues based on tests of moisture content and analysis of data of pH, leaching, solubilization, total organic material, total rocks, total mineral and enzymatic of existing samples to designate a function compatible. The results that can be recycled can be used as the aid material with building materials such as concrete, present suitable for the cultivation of ornamental plant species are mixed with the charred rice bark and vermiculite, are a good a source of recycling for cogeneration processes such as incineration and piracy can be used in tanning and retanning of hides, with great environmental benefit and cost reduction for tanning.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
This paper proposes a Genetic Algorithm (GA) to solve the no-wait flowshop scheduling problem with the makespan criterion. The problem has important applications in industrial systems. The main contribution of this study is due to the fact that new genetic operators were used such as mutation operator which intensifies the search to find good solutions and a new intensification criteria to escape from local minima. In addition, The GA is not hybridized as does most of the resolution methods used recently to solve the problem. The GA took into account the diversification and intensification of the search to solve the problem. Computational experiments are reported for the literature instances and the obtained results are compared with other techniques.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
The area of Kendari City with landforms dominated by plains causes potential for flooding and inundation. In the soil and water conservation efforts program in an area, the problem of flooding related to the level of danger is one of the very important aspects to be taken into account. Need to study priorities and alternatives for conserving water resources in order to reduce the level of flood hazard in Kendari City. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy of conserving water resources as an alternative to flood prevention in Kendari City. The strategy of conserving water resources in flood prevention is determined by the process hierarchy analysis (AHP) method. The results of research show that the priority of water resources conservation policies in order to prevent flooding in various types of land use namely: (i) reforestation methods can be applied to the types of land use of forests, campun gardens, and mangrove forests; (ii) the green open space method is applied to the alang-alang land types, settlements, shrubs; (iii) pond land; (iv) the biopore method is applied to uplands or fields and government offices. The main actor in the application of conservation of water.

Historic emergence of Air Pollution and Environmental events
Dr. Akshey Bhargava || Nancy
India
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
The oldest forms of air pollution are fire and even today forest fires cause air pollution. Air pollution, particularly in cities, remained significant even in the middle Ages because of the use of coal. The problems of poor urban air quality were even documented by the end of 16th century. The Industrial revolution during the 18th and 19th centuries was predominantly focused on the use of coal in the UK. The industries were usually located in towns and cities causing air pollution to a greater extent. Moreover, the use of coal in homes elevated urban air pollution to higher levels. Besides, under foggy atmospheric conditions, air pollution levels were critically high causing cities to halt, disrupting traffic, and even significantly increasing death rates. Such an increase of air pollution facilitated Public Health Act, which came into force in 1875 having smoke abatement measures in place. The world biggest sacrifice for saving trees in one village of Rajasthan was witnessed in 1730 A.D in which 363 people lost their life. An effort has been made by the authors in the present paper to highlight the global emergence of air pollution along with environmental events.

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 10 ~ Issue 8
Most research efforts treating 4G/LTE mobile networks focus on the terrestrial access network, while the design of the network core has only been scarcelytouched in the literature. Sizing the core requires the knowlegde of how many subscribers the network will serve. If the network intends to function for several years in the future, is a common practice to extrapolate thenewtork number of subscribers and to treat this estimate as a deterministic quantity when doing the sizing. This is the case even though many things can arise that make this estimate far off the real number of subscribers the network sees when it goes into operation.Similarly, other parameters required when sizing a network, such as the number of connected subscribers at peak time, are uncertain when designing the network, as they depend on the subscribers' usage patternsand change over the years..........

Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a multidisciplinary field whose goal is to automate activities that presently require human intelligence. Recent successes in A.I. include computerized medical diagnosticians and systems that automatically customize hardware to particular user requirements. The major problem areas addressed in A.I. can be summarized as Perception, Manipulation, Reasoning, Communication, and Learning. Perception is concerned with building models of the physical world from sensory input (visual, audio, etc.). Manipulation is concerned with articulating appendages (e.g., mechanical arms, locomotion devices) in order to effect a desired state in the physical world. Reasoning is concerned with higher level cognitive functions such as planning, drawing inferential conclusions from a world model, diagnosing, designing, etc. Communication treats the problem understanding and conveying information through the use of language.
