Total drinking water needs consist of domestic water needs, trade, industry, service sector, tourism, animal water needs, special needs and water losses. Although the estimation methods used in determining the need of drinking water used by the settlements or in the future will be used with the amount of population, it is a fact that there are many parameters affecting the water consumption today. In this study, parameters such as water amount, water loss, accrued, temperature, humidity, population, rainfall, development status and number of water subscribers were used for Diyarbakır City among 2005-2014 years. With these parameters affecting water demand and drinking water consumption, models based on Genetic Expression Programming, which is an artificial intelligence technique, have been developed for the estimation of future drinking water needs. Different models have been developed with Genetic Expression Programming in demand and estimation of drinking water and the effects of parameters affecting consumption have been examined. In addition, by looking at the Determination Coefficient (R2) and the Mean Squared Error (RMSE), the predicted values obtained from the model were compared with the measured values.

Perspective on the Use of Mathematics Modules
Gusti Ayu Dessy Sugiharni
Indonesia
Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 11 ~ Issue 11
There have been many studies on the use of mathematics modules. Where, the use of mathematics modules is also suggested in the revised curriculum. This indicates that we need a combination of several studies that are analyzed systematically and detail in a study. This study used a meta-analysis method to make a systematic and integrated research review on the use of published mathematics modules. Scientific publications written between 2017 and 2021 were detected based on titles, abstracts and keywords using database 'advanced search' tools. The key word used is 'math module'; 'math e-module'; 'math textbook'; and 'math e-book'. 101 scientific publications were selected after an extensive literature review. However, 25 studies that match the research objectives had been identified. Based on the results of the content analysis, it showed some weaknesses of the mathematics module that had been developed. For this reason, an improvement is needed to develop a mathematics module that can be used more optimally.

Investigation of Scour Depths Around the Side Weir with GEP

Research Inventy: International Journal of Engineering & Science , Volume 11 ~ Issue 11
Side weirs are structures used to reduce excess flow in a channel or to take the needed flow from any channel. Side weirs are built in necessary places so that excess water entering the canal does not overflow and damage the environment. Dimensionless parameters V1/Vc, L/b, (h1-p)/h1, d50/p, which affect the Hd/p equilibrium scour depth, were obtained. R2 and RMSE values were obtained by making models with 3 and 4 dimensionless parameters. In the first model, Model-1, all variables V1/Vc, L/b, (h1-p)/h1, d50/p were included in the calculations. As a result of the calculations made in Model-1, R²=0.86 and RMSE=0.1452 for the training data, R²=0.86 and RMSE=0.1531 for the test data.
